Beatbox your Choir - accompanying choirs and vocal groups perfectly
It’s hard to imagine contemporary a cappella’s pop/jazz choirs and vocal groups without beatboxing and vocal percussion. This workshop is meant to deliver a structured and practical instruction for the a cappella beatboxer to accompany his ensemble, whether he may be a novice or an advanced practitioner.
- From the first sounds to a complete accompaniment, in several difficulties.
- Swing, Salsa or Dubstep - pick your style!
The participants of the workshop form the choir to be accompanied - 17 loop songs in different styles are provided.
Choral conductors and arrangers might also find this workshop interesting - the ensemble leader can use his basic skills to communicate his sonic ideas more effectively, the arranger can write them down.
You should bring some curiosity and be keen to experiment. Our basic tenet is: Whatever sounds good, is good!
