Jazzchor der Uni Bonn

The Jazzchor der Uni Bonn looks back on a 25-year history. Dressed in black and white back then to today’s blue, gray and gold - one thing never changed: the choir offers the opportunity to share the joy of singing and experiencing various (jazz) harmonies among all students and other music enthusiasts.
Since 2012, the choir has been directed by Jan-Hendrik Herrmann, who successfully unifies the choir's sound despite the constantly fluctuating instrumentation. He also wrote most of the arrangements that the choir sings. The repertoire ranges from rock and pop icons like Queen and Michael Jackson to jazz arrangements based on pieces of Kurt Elling and current artists like Jacob Collier, Accent and Imogen Heap.
