Young Black Forest Voices
Sing all you got!
Workshop for children aged approx. 6 – 11 years
„didldidldim – didldidldim – didldidldidldidldidldidldim – da da TJA da da da TJA da da da TJA da da da tam“: you recognize it? Yes, it is Mozart’s ‘Rondo alla turca’. A lively piece of music. But let’s swing ourselves like a casual palm tree on deck, before we sing it! The head’s hanging, totally relaxed, from one side to the other. You don`t know that yet?
Ok, what about the tomato salad? Well yes, it's a song and a tongue twister. Seriously, singing is like surfing, with the melodies being waves and our voices as surfboards. A little practice will lead to a lot of fun. Especially when we’re riding together.
Every wave (melody) is different and at the end you don’t even have to get to the ocean. All these sea sounds (songs) in your head, will let you ride (sing) whenever you feel like it.
As a youth advisor in the Breisgau Choir Association, Timea Djerdj is committed to mature music-making in children's and youth choirs. A particular concern of hers is the mediation of protective concepts in member associations. During the Covid pandemic she founded a children's choir in the Black Forest. She also directs several choirs in the region and performs as a duo with Florian Bischof on antique pianos of the 19th century.
Stomp, Snap, Clap! Bodypercussion for kids
Stomp, Snap, Clap! Bodypercussion for kids
Through first games with body percussion we will learn sound production techniques that make pulse and rhythm audible and tangible inside our bodies. Without any instruments, but powerful!
Small exercises on rhythm, reaction, coordination and tact are also part of the program and give an insight into our versatile 'musical body'.
You like stomping and clapping? All children are welcome!

The crazy music-comedy duo Acoustic Instinct offer you sounds, stories and much to sing along and participate. These two whirlwinds sweep across the stage with their mega-live-sound-mouth-acrobatics and turn the world into sound. You can hear the ocean, jackhammers, helicopters, unicorns and anything else you can wish for and imagine. This two-man band doesn't need any instruments to start the kids' party - as vocal artists, they only need their mouths, microphones and of course you to start the wild sound journey.
Founded in 2005 in Freiburg, Germany, Acoustic Instinct is a perfectly matching duo having played more than 500 shows since 2009.
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, South Korea, Japan or the USA - Paul Brenning and Julian Knörzer inspire their audience all over the world. Due to their flexibility and adaptability, they have been working with other artists, choirs and bands from Germany and abroad.
Acoustic Instinct combines the art of human beatboxing with elements of a-cappella, slapstick/comedy, acting, mime and improvisation. The duo effortlessly adapts to both, the venue and the audience, and lets them become part of the show. They focus on unusual sounds, original song ideas, spontaneity and joy in their play.
With this variety Acoustic Instinct opens a world full of creativity and inspires more and more fans with their surprising expressions. The age of the audience doesn’t matter at all…Their joy of improvisation creates a unique sound experience.
