Program 2026 - Reflections
During the four-day annual Black Forest Voices Festival in Kirchzarten, everything revolves around popular choir and a cappella music. Over 50 workshops, numerous concerts, a coaching camp, a master class, our free supporting program “Sound of Kirchzarten,” and Young BFV, an offering for young people. The festival is open to individual participants, vocal bands, choirs, and concertgoers—both local and international. Everyone is welcome!
In the 2026 festival year, the motto REFLECTIONS carries through a diverse program: jazz flows through the concerts and workshops as a living source, artists bid farewell with their final tour, family concerts and matinees open up spaces for all generations, and the atmospheric evening concert and lively festival grounds become a place of shared resonance.

This year, there’s a special new addition to our schedule: Our headliner concerts on Friday and Saturday will now take place not only at 8 p.m., but also at 4 p.m.
We hope this will achieve several goals: More people will have access to our concerts, while at the same time we’ll spread out the evening hours a bit—thereby creating new opportunities to enjoy the festival experience.
While some visitors can enjoy concert moments as early as the afternoon, additional workshop offerings open up in the evening. This creates the opportunity to end the festival day in very different ways: with an energetic concert or with an intense, quiet immersion in musical workshop content later in the evening.
Especially during the cooler evening hours, a very special atmosphere often emerges for singing together, experimenting, and delving deeper. We are very much looking forward to trying out this new rhythm with you.
It is important to us to continue creating plenty of spaces for encounters, shared experiences, and that festival feeling—on campus, between sessions, at our side events, and of course during the many musical moments in between.
