Join the BFV and help make our festival a success as a volunteer!
The Black Forest Voices Festival wouldn’t be possible without the many helping hands and creative minds of our volunteers. As every year, there’s a wide range of roles available. For every shift you work, you’ll receive a free ticket to a workshop or concert of your choice.
You are:

aged 18 or over
-
passionate about choir singing, a music lover, crazy about a cappella… – or just interested :-)
- available from Wednesday 10 June to Monday 15 June 2026
We need:

A total of around 70 volunteers for the following roles:

Set-up and dismantling: festival grounds, signage, workshop rooms, …

Workshops: admissions, point of contact for tutors & visitors, …
-
Concerts: admissions, guest coordination, keeping escape routes clear, ...
-
Standby volunteer
-
…

We offer:

exciting concerts and workshops with artists from the German and international choral and vocal scene

Insights into festival organisation and event management
-
A great, motivated team and collaboration on equal terms, with a lively festival atmosphere

One free ticket per volunteer shift for a workshop or concert of your choice

If required: confirmation of voluntary work (please contact nina@blackforestvoices.com after the festival to arrange this)
Important to know

Registration: The deadline for registering as a volunteer is Thursday, 7 May 2026. The rota will be available approximately one month after the registration deadline and before the festival begins.

Online information session via Zoom: Compulsory for all volunteers (both existing and new!) on 31 May 2026 at 7 pm.

Site tour: An opportunity for anyone interested to get to know the festival site. The meeting point is on 10 June 2025 at 7 pm at the festival office, Talvogteistraße 3, 79199 Kirchzarten
